Look has presented the G85 Cezal RS, a version of its gravel platform more focused on competition. The French brand has developed it together with privateer rider Russell Finsterwald, with the idea of complementing the original G85 Cezal and together covering most of gravel, according to the company itself.
The main change is in the frame, which debuts a redesigned new HM carbon layup. Look says that this work saves 200 grams compared with the G85 Cezal and places the frame at 1,000 grams in size M. It also states that it gains stiffness, with a bottom bracket 19% stiffer and a head tube 20% stiffer, aiming for better sensations in sprints, climbs and accelerations.
Even so, the brand says it has not sacrificed comfort. The frame retains the 3D Wave Flex System in the chainstays to filter vibrations and improve the wheels' contact with the terrain. The geometry in size M offers 590 mm of stack, 380 mm of reach, 70-degree head angles and 74-degree seat angles, plus 425 mm chainstays. It also accepts suspension forks with up to 60 mm of travel.

The range is structured into three options. The top of the range is the G85 Cezal RS SRAM Red XPLR AXS, with a 44-tooth aero chainring, Look Aero Carbon RS 3handlebar and stem, Fulcrum Shraq C25 wheels and Hutchinson Touareg Race 45 mm tires. It costs 8.990 euros and declares a total weight of 7.9 kg.
Below it is the G85 Cezal RS SRAM Force XPLR AXS, which keeps the same wheels and tires, but mounts a 40-tooth chainring and a cockpit with a Deda Superzero carbon handlebar and Superboxstem. Its price is 6.990 euros and the weight rises to 8.3 kg.
Lastly, Look offers the G85 Cezal RS frameset for custom builds. It includes a Token T47bottom bracket, 160 mm flat-mount hardware and a 27.2 mm Look LS1 carbon seatpost. Its price is 3.290 euros.
