According to information obtained from ESMTB, the Girona brand Megamo has officially presented Megamo Gravel Racing, its new all-female competitive gravel team. This project marks a step forward in women's sports, reflecting the brand's DNA with its own structure.
With the philosophy "Building Our Own Way", the project focuses on Girona, a cycling epicenter. The four international riders, the Team Manager and the mechanic reside in the city, fostering a strong local connection.
The team is made up of talents such as Canadian Lucy Hempstead (a benchmark in Gravel Earth Series), Australian Cassia Boglio (podiums in UCI Gravel World Series), Austrian national champion Theresa Rindler-Bachl (with victories such as the mixed Cape Epic ), and Sarah Diekmeyer (long-distance expert).

The management is handled by Alba Lara (Team Manager) and Eduard Portal (mechanic, former Buff Megamo). Daily content will be captured by Avanto Studio, Roger Salanova and Martí Miró.
Megamo Gravel Racing is supported by SRAM (Official Team Partner), Zipp, Hammerhead, Time, Fizik (saddles, helmets, shoes), Vittoria (tires), Zéfal, Wera and Quadis. Apparel will be from Assos, Tanline and Q36.5.
The official bike, the Megamo Silk (Grave color), is equipped with SRAM RED, Zipp, Hammerhead and Timecomponents, Fizik peripherals, and 50mm Vittoria tires. It is the same model available to the end user.
The calendar will focus on the Gravel Earth Series, national championships, and UCI Gravel World Series. The official debut will be on February 14th in Santa Vall, with a prior competitive premiere on February 8th in La Bescanonina, with Cassia Boglio, Lucy Hempstead and Theresa Rindler Bachl.
